Only tripod models manufactured after 7/26/2007 have the air vent screw feature to change the air tightness within the leg tube.

Adjustment method:

    Please take off the leg tube with enclosed hexagonal wrenches.  One will see 2 adjustment screws on the bottom of the leg tube.  Please use fingers to pull the stopping pin outward and hold it there.  Then, please use the also enclosed 2mm hexagonal wrench to take off both screws, then screw back the leg tube to the tripod main frame.  Repeat steps for all leg tubes.  This will cancel the air pressure inside each leg tube and make leg tubes easier to come out and collapse.

    To return leg tube status back to air tightness, just take off the leg again and screw back both screws.  In order to prevent screws from slipping out, one can apply some bonding agent to the screws before putting them back.  Also, please do not screw both screws all the way in.  It's best to leave the screws 1mm above leg tube metal surface so they will not block the internal carbon fiber tube.
